No real thought behind this one. More of an exercise in order to get back into oils after being away from it for a while. I wanted to add more details, but I really couldn't come up with anyting. Though I think that the title makes up for it.
Maybe the light that is reflected in the eyes are actually the light that bouncing of from the lit "cheeks" right below the eyeballs? To me, this is less important than the overall look and the feel of the piece. The piece would not change in value or expression in any sort of way if the light were "correct". I mean, it's just a couple of dots of white.
Haha... Well, It is another one of those ambiguous paintings that I tend to do, where different expression-values kinda collide. Thank YOU for commenting!
